So there has been some wicked strange weather in Ottawa this spring. This morning it was -10, while it’s was about 12 Wednesday, has some snow too..all temps are in C. It is making hats for me to decide to go back to my summers on the ST.

The steam heat in our building is still on - climate change means a lot of things, not just rising sea levels. However, the cats are fine with it - they love to sleep near the radiators.

They like patterns (ours eat at 7:30pm every night). They like the heat to come on in October, and don’t move the furniture around. We’re shopping for an apartment now, so they’re in for a big shock when we find something.

In the last 4 hours it has gone from snowing to bright and sunny to snowing again 5 times.

Darn near broke into the low 70s (21C) today. Starting Tuesday, we’re on a rain/snow/rain rollercoaster again. I’m not putting my snow tires back on again until next winter.

Yesterday it was 40mph winds and low 30s (-1).

Was planning to do the same thing as you. Started planning to do it 3 or 4 weekends ago. The weather keeps scaring me off. Now my street looks like mid-January. The plows came by twice today...

Looks like 21 on the weekend though! I love Ontario...
